The typical cost breakdown is as such: for Deluxe, you paid $34.99; if you e-filed, there is another $34.99 processing fee; then there is a state fee of $29.99. These are deducted, if you e-filed, during the transfer process. Before the money is put into your account, TurboTax fees are deducted. If you filed by mail, you would have already paid in order to print and file.
