I filed my taxes on Jan 16 and turbo tax sent me a notification and email stating that the irs accepted them that same day but when I go check on the “where’s my refund” status it’s not showing up with nothing all it’s saying is that they are still being processed and that there is no set date for my direct deposit I don’t even have the bar stating where your refund is at?

We filled our tax Jan 22 and we still in accepted bar we don’t know when they gonna deposit since 2 weeks ago still same and we paid $120 for the service smh is always the same thing every year

Once you submit your return, Turbo Tax has no control over when the IRS finishes your return and releases your refund.

But if turbo tax says the irs accepted it tht means it won’t get returned anymore correct?

Correct. If they had been rejected you would have received an email with steps to take in order to correct the rejection. The IRS is processing your return. The IRS issues most refunds in about 21 days, although some returns take more time to review. Track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site.

So if it’s been more than 21 days I shouldn’t be worried about my tax refund?
