How can I check to see if I itemized or did standard deduction last year, 2015?

Checked and just says 1040 and on line 40 ends in a 5 so I'm guessing that I itemized. Sad, but honestly can't remember.

Look for the Schedule A form as a part of your 2015 tax return for further confirmation.

Schedule A is the Itemized Deductions form. The amount reported at the bottom of Schedule A should match the amount reported on line 40 of your Form 1040.
