Is it optional to print your tax return or you have to? It’s my first time filing taxes.

Printing the return is optional. If you do not want to print it, I would recommend at least saving a PDF copy so you have it for your records.

Did you efile it? If you efiled you don't need to print unless you want to keep a copy or to give someone like to get a loan.

if you don't efile you will need to print and mail your return to the IRS and state.
