The IRS does not send any correspondence directly to tax filers regarding the status of an efiled or mailed return. The only way to verify with the IRS that the IRS accepted your return is to track your refund on the IRS tracking web site: https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If you will have DD you can check @ https://taxpayer.sbtpg.com/login to see if refund has been sent to Santa Barbara Tax Group the 3rd party bank that will DDD your refund once it is received from IRS.
