Federal return processing but where is my state

I check the status of my Federal return through the IRS page but I am wondering where and when I’ll be getting my state. Does it come at the same time as your federal? How do you check the status of your state?

States are processed separate from the IRS. Even if you filed your federal and state returns at the same time, your state may not start processing it at the same time as the IRS.
