Until the IRS starts processing your tax return there may not be a record of it or the IRS website may say that you have entered incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. You need to wait at least 24 hours after transmitting your tax return. As your return moves through the system the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund? tool for updates. These updates are made daily, usually overnight. Also, you will need to know the exact amount of your tax return refund, your tax return filing status, and your Social Security number when you visit the IRS website to track your refund.

My taxes where filed & Accepted 1/28/20 but still haven't recieve my Federal return. When logging into IRS.Gov to check up on the status. It's been pending for over 8 days. What's going on ? I heard EIC taxes weren't in review til 2/15/20. When can we really expect a return ?

The most common timeframe for the IRS to process and release refunds is within 21 calendar days after the e-filed return has been accepted (received), not 21 days from the e-filing date. So it looks like you're still within this timeframe. To track your federal refund, look on the IRS Where's My Refund site.

I have all that it says info does not match. Plus they said they could not put my refund direct deposite so a paper check was sent. Before i got my new place. But i put in a change of address. Still nothing. How can i check my direct deposite info and change my address if the irs is closed
