No, you do not have to amend your income tax refund to include the 1095-C. The only form that requires the information to be submitted to the IRS is 1095-A.

So do I get a credit for my 1095c because I didn’t add them on my tax return when I filed

The Form 1095-C is not entered on a tax return because it is not required to be entered. There is no credit associated with the 1095-C.
