The IRS has said that they issue most refunds in less than 21 calendar days.

If you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) on your tax return, the IRS cannot issue your refund before mid-February. The IRS expects the first EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March, if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.

You can check the status of your refund by going to the IRS Refunds page. You can click on the Check My Refund Status link or download the IRS2Go app for your mobile device.
