      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, you did not mess up.&amp;nbsp; Even if you are claimed as a dependent by your parents, you are still entitled to claim the standard deduction.&amp;nbsp; Your standard deduction would be up to $12,200.&amp;nbsp; So if you made less than that amount, you would be entitled to receive a refund of everything that was withheld.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
