Here's how to enter your mortgage interest statement in TurboTax:

With your return open, search for 1098 and select the Jump to link in the search results.
Follow the instructions to enter your 1098 info.

I already filed my taxes using tuerbo tax , but I just received a 1098 for mortgage interest from my timeshare. Does it make a difference on my refund if I add it?

It could. If you claimed the Standard Deduction on your return, it may not. If you claimed Itemized Deductions, then it definitely could.

The best way to find out is to open your return and enter the 1098 you received to see if it changes your refund amount.

If it does, you can mail in an Amended Return after you receive your Refund.
