Copy of my 2018 federal tax return

I need a copy of my 2018 tax return but it states they don’t have a record for that year. I did file through TurboTax and received my refund deposit on 4/5/2019. The fee was deducted from my refund by SBTPG LLC. pE 5

That's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online.

To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

For a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

To get a copy of your TurboTax 2018 tax return follow these steps:

Select Documents from the navigation when it appears.
Use the drop-down menu at the top of the screen to choose the tax year you want and then select Download PDF.

Also, you can request a transcript of your 2018 tax returns from the IRS.
