I have a lock on my account until Dec. 12th for my 20171040 X. I file my 2018 on October 14 the and it's processed already I questioned will it be taken or given to me since I verified my identity and filing status?

Only the IRS can answer those type of questions.

And the IRS will not respond to any questions concerning the amended return until it has been at least 16 weeks after the return was sent to the IRIS.

If your original 2017 return had a balance due expect the 2018 refund to be taken to satisfy the return even with a freeze on the account. If they do take the money then you will simply report it on the amended return to get a refund of any excess paid in when you file the 1040X.
