&lt;P&gt;If you have already e-filed and it has been accepted by the IRS or you mailed in your 2020 tax return, you are not able to make any changes to your direct deposit information. If your account is closed and your&amp;nbsp;financial institution rejects the deposit, the government will mail your refund check. If your return gets rejected,&amp;nbsp;you can update your account information and any issues that caused the rejection.&lt;BR /&gt;
