What is the accounting number? You mean your bank account number for direct deposit? If the bank rejects the deposit the IRS will mail a check to the address on your return. Did you efile? Was it Accepted?

Double check your efile status here. If it rejects you can fix it

It says it was accepted, and that's what the email I received at the time said. It only messaged me back about incorrect social security number (which i fixed), but it never got back to me about bank info. And I checked my bank statements and I did not receive the money.
