You may need to explain more.

By "filed an extension", do you mean you filed an extension request last spring, or do you mean you have now completed and filed the return that was extended?

If you haven't finished and filed it, is this what you are experiencing? Log into your Online TurboTax account, and if the return status says "printed", does TurboTax think you were finished, and are you asking how to open the interview back up to continue and finish a return that has not yet been filed?

If that's your situation, log in and at the Tax Home, if there is no "Take me to my return" button, then choose "Add a State." That doesn't really add one, but opens the interview back up.

I added some info above about how to re-open and continue a return that has not been filed, if TurboTax thinks you were finished when you weren't. If the above is not your situation, are you asking how to find and download a 2018 return that has already been completed and filed?
