It is complicated to amend a return NOT originally done with the TT program so you must have missed a step ...

First you had to enter the entire original return AS FILED, then indicate you would mail in the return so the program will archive it, then open the return and use the amendment process. After you finished amending the federal return you need to go to the state tab and indicate that it also needs amending ... did you miss that last step ?

Thank you! Yes I did miss a step. It's a very easy process, once one learns to navigate!

It's like you said and I added a to it. Go to State tab/select-Edit/at the bottom select-"Read This" (in blue type font). This brings up instructions to amend. Then, select-Continue/select-I'd like to view or update a specific area of my State return. Go to-Other Forms section. Next to-File an Amended Return select-Start and go through the process! Thanks again!
