      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well since you can't buy Plus for 2017 now in 2019 you must have paid for 2018 Plus to unlock 2017. &amp;nbsp;Did you pay for Plus in the same account that 2017 is in?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Or did you buy the 2017 Desktop download?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think you must have bought the Desktop program. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Sorry you needed to pay for 2018 online Plus or higher in the same online account. &amp;nbsp;Buying the Desktop program won't unlock it. &amp;nbsp;Call in and ask them to unlock it since you bought the Desktop program.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P class="sh-ext-lemon--p-UK6ra"&gt;In TurboTax Free Edition, you can purchase PLUS to unlock your prior-year .tax file.&lt;/P&gt;
