An order confirmation number for what exactly?

Are you referring to the purchase of TurboTax software to be installed on a personal computer for those tax years?
Are you referring to paying for one of the TurboTax online web based editions for those tax years?
Are you referring to filing tax returns using TurboTax for those tax years?
Are you referring to paying taxes owed, federal or state, for those tax years?

I have the same question. I have a confirmation email, but I do not see the year (2017) in my downloads. all others are there from 2018 back to 2013. to check the purchase, you need an ORDER NUMBER and billing zipcode, there is no order number in the confirmation email, and the confirmation email takes you to the download page but the software is not listed.

You have to sign onto your online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the account.

Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.

Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery

If none of the user ID's received will access your account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

@Lutherr2 What exactly are you trying to confirm? Did you read the other posts in this thread? Do you want an order number?

There is no confirmation number for filing your income tax return, unless you mean the electronic postmark----that will show that you e-filed. The electronic postmark will be part of the pdf of the tax return you filed.

You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.
