I filed my amended tax return, it was completed on 07/19 today is the 31st, and I still haven’t seen it in the mail. How long after the completion date should I wait before receiving my refund?

What do you mean by that? TurboTax is not going to mail your Form 1040X to you or mail it to the IRS for you. YOU have to print it, sign it, and mail it yourself.

A 1040X cannot be e-filed. It must be printed and mailed. It will take about 3-4 months for the IRS to process an amended return. It is a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it, like UPS or certified mail, so you will know it was received.

Wait about 3 weeks from mailing and you can check the status of your amended return:

I don’t mean the form I already did the 1040X and everything’s completed I’m waiting on the actual refund to be in the mail

She gave you the link where to check for the Refund. And it takes about 16 weeks to get refunds on amended returns.

All the link tells me is that it’s completed which I mentioned previously. I need to know how long from the completion date will it take for me to receive my refund?

It takes three to four months for your amended return to be processed. That means you should not expect a check in the mail until at least sometime in October--maybe later.

It was received 5/20 adjusted 6/28 and completed 7/19 if what your saying is correct I should receive it within August or September
