If this form does not apply to you, you can remove it from your tax return.

You will need to manually delete Form 14039, Identity Theft Affidavit, from your tax return.

To delete a form in TurboTax Online follow the steps below.

1. Sign into TurboTax Online
2. Continue your return by click Taxes > Tax Timeline > Take me to my return.
3. In the upper right corner, click My Account > Tools (Please note: if you don't see the my account dropdown arrow you may need to expand your web browser. Also delete a form is not available in the mobile app)
4. In the pop-up window, select Delete a form
5. Click Delete next to the form or schedule and follow the instructions to remove the form/schedule.
