when you mailed it, did you use a delivery method where you get proof of deliver? if not, remember this suggestion next year. mailed returns must be manually processed. this means it can actually be months before the receipt of your return, assuming they get it, is entered into their computer system. all you can do now is wait and maybe check once a week.

And you mailed state separately from federal? Some people have been mailing federal and state in the same envelope to one place.
