Does "it" refer to a Federal refund?

Did you print, sign, and mail your return paperwork? TurboTax does not mail it for you.

After 4 weeks from mailing, it should show up in this tool. How long has it been?

It takes 6 weeks or so to normally get a refund after filing on paper by mail. Longer if they have to review anything or extra processing. If it's been longer than 6 weeks, we can tell you how to phone a live agent at the IRS to inquire.

I have the same thing going on, tried to file online and ended up having to mail in paperwork and that was a month ago, when I try and check my status for refund or return on the IRS website it says they don’t have any thing about the status of it. What do I do know? I mailed all the paperwork in with a signature as well as my w-2 so I don’t know what to do now
