      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you are looking for the status of your &amp;nbsp;filed ( mailed ) amended return -- IRS offers "Where is My Amended Return". That would be most up to date information. This usually takes a bit longer than mailed in current year filings &amp;nbsp;-- around 12 weeks &amp;nbsp;I think.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
