topic Transcript has generated !!! in After you file

I got a letter from IRS to mail/fax a 1095a and a 8962 form. How will I know they have received it? How long does it generally take to get confirmation?

I filed on 2/2 . I got the letter from IRS (dated) 2/22. I faxed my forms on 2/26 (5days ago) . When and how do I know if they have received my fax? I sent fax myself at my friend's office and anxious to know if it has made it to IRS. If the premium tax credit increased/decreased the amount of my refund , how will I know the new amount? I would like to know if anyone else in 2017 has had any confirmation about their faxed forms. It has been very stressful thinking I was going to have the refund a week ago, now it could be months !

You have to call them. They may or may not tell you depending on who you get. I filled feb 7,2017 got letter which was dated feb 18,2017 in the mail on feb 27,2017 faxed paperwork on feb 28,2017 called March 7,2017 and was advised to wait 6 to 8 weeks.

@tmartinpatterson I faxed mine 2/26 .. and as of like 15 mins ago my refund was finally approved after a longg agonizing wait ! And got my DDD of March 16 . So if you faxed yours 2/27 hopefully you will get yours tomorrow or the next day!

@kacie_jamaya glad to see I'm not the only one still waiting for the return to be approved I faxed mine 2/24 IRS rep confirmed they recieved 3/2 ordered transcripts on 3/10 as well and still waiting for WMR to update. Good luck to you!

@aprilmichelle91 that is confusing. But Im pretty sure either way you're only days if not tonight from being approved. I've gathered that it'll take just a little longer if they are adjusting amount,so I'm sure that's why, hopefully you will get more money back from tax credit.

I just got off the phone with the IRS and my 8962 and 1095a have been received and I could receive my refund in 10 days up to six weeks.
