Why do I have to put money into a savings bond just to put my money where I want? That is a governmental scam if I've ever seen one before.

EDIT: I am a little less irritated; I was able to delete the bond after setting it and my accounts up, then adding in the remainder to one of the other accounts using the edit feature. Still an annoying process.
