      <description>&lt;P&gt;An amended return must be paper filed through the mail.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once you click the Amend button (which is not available for 2017 quite yet) you will see your refund or amount due set back to $0.&amp;nbsp; You will then come to a screen which will allow you to choose which details you need to add.&amp;nbsp; The rest of it looks pretty much like the original interview.&amp;nbsp; Once you get to the end it will look like you can continue through and e-file.       <description>Yes, they do recommend waiting until you receive your original refund.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It does take somewhere between 8-16 weeks for them to process the amended return.</description>
