The IRS has stated they will not start accepting e-filed...

The IRS has stated they will not start accepting e-filed returns until January 29, 2018. If all federal and state forms in your return are finalized and you've filed, TurboTax holds the returns until the IRS starts pulling them on January 29th. Even if you file early, they will still not start processing the returns until on/after Jan. 29th. When will I get my IRS tax refund?

Most federal and state forms are not yet finalized due to new tax laws. So if your tax return has forms that are not final yet, you will not be able to file the return until they are final.

NOTE: Any returns that include Earned Income Credit and/or Additional Child Tax Credit will also be held until around mid-February. And refunds from those returns will start releasing in late February.

The IRS has started to pull test returns and acceptances...

The IRS has started to pull test returns and acceptances have been given on those returns HOWEVER they will not start processing returns until the 29th so don't expect any refunds before 1/7/18 at the earliest and if your refund includes any EIC or ACTC then those will not process until 2/15 and those refunds are not expected out before 2/27.

What you need to do now is check the IRS site periodically for the current status of your return ... don't try more than once a day as you may get locked out & they only update the site once a day usually overnight.
