If you want to preview your tax return before filing, follow the steps below:

Sign into your TurboTax account
Click Take me to my return
Click My Account and choose Tools
You will then see Other Helpful Links and can select the option View Tax Summary
Choose Preview my 1040 and you can click Back to leave the preview screen.

If you would prefer to see all forms, schedules, and worksheets in your tax return, follow the steps below:

Click My Account and then choose Print Center
Click Print, save, or preview this years return. You will then be prompted to register or pay if you haven’t done so to view your full return.

I am having the same issue. I cannot view my 1040. when I click "download/print return" only my state return downloads without 1040. For all my previous years tax return I am able to download 1040.

You can download your tax return using the Print Center and choose the option for all worksheets.

Sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page
Scroll down and click on Add a state. (this just gets you back in)
This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.
Then click on Print Center.
Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

I do not really understand how Turbo Tax database working. In order to see details of my 1040 form, I need to go to "add state" and then trying to find.... I recommend Turbo Tax programmers to make user part more user-friendly and more meaningful. I preferred TurboTax to be fast but it mostly takes more time to understand the system. I know another problem that they are providing free Self Employment app but I could not still started to use that because of complexity and errors.

Hoping to work on your systems more so we still consider to work with you next years and so on...

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Or -

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back in to the 2020 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
