That Take Action screen you see also has a phone number to call with an extension to choose and a reference number to give the representative that answers the line at IRS. I called the number the other day and the wait time to speak with someone was only a few minutes.

It was for a client, they wouldn't speak with me...I had to call a special number for professional tax preparers calling about their client's tax issues. That number is meant for the actual taxpayer to call and discuss their own return with IRS.

They did answer quickly when I called though....it wasn't a long drawn out hold time at all.
