my husband and I are going through a divorce as of March 2016, we need to amend our 2015 tax return because our kids were not claimed properly, he has agreeded to sign it and send it in since we are still going through our divorce. we just want to know... we are due $2300, will that go to back child support first (aprox $1200)? Even though we didnt have a child support order until March 2016? or will we just get a check in the mail to the address on return?
