No, you do not have sent the entire tax file. You would only need to mail the Form 1040-X as well as any forms or schedules that were added or changed as a result of the amendment.

You can find the mailing address in the tax return that you printed out. I will also include an IRS.gov link where you can locate the appropriate mailing address for your state and your specific tax situation https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040x.pdf.
