(your stipend)&lt;/P&gt;

     into your account and continue (if not already there).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;In the
     Search box (top right-hand corner), type “&lt;B&gt;miscellaneous income&lt;/B&gt;”.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click
     on the Magnifying Glass icon.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click
     on “&lt;B&gt;Jump to miscellaneous income&lt;/B&gt;” link high-lighted in Blue.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click
     on &lt;B&gt;No&lt;/B&gt; tab when asked “Did you get a 1099-MISC?”&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Scroll
     down to &lt;B&gt;Less Common Income&lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click
     on Show more (if not already open)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click
     on Start (or Revisit) tab next to &lt;B&gt;Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C&lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click
     on Start tab next to “&lt;B&gt;Other Income not already reported on a Form W-2
     or Form 1099&lt;/B&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Answer
     &lt;B&gt;Yes&lt;/B&gt; on the Did you receive any other wages? Screen, Continue.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Continue
     past Wages Earned as a Household Employee and Sick or Disability Pay&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Answer
     &lt;B&gt;Yes&lt;/B&gt; on the Any Other Earned Income screen&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Choose
     &lt;B&gt;Other&lt;/B&gt; on the Enter Source of Other Earned Income screen &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Enter
     your stipend information on the Any Other Earned Income screen
     (Description &amp;amp; Amount).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;



&lt;P&gt;This will report your stipend on line 7 of your Form 1040,
and you will not be subject to Self Employment Tax.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is it possible your stipend is not taxable? For example, if the stipend is for hotel or meals and you use that money to pay those expenses and do not deduct those expenses, then the stipend may not be taxable. Please provide more details about your employer and the type of stipend.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
