Here's how you would go about downloading the .tax file from your online account.

When you log into your account and access your past return under My Tax Timeline, there's an option to Download .tax file under SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO. This will download your tax transcript with the extension needed to upload it into your desktop version.

My previous years returns are stored on my old computer hard drive. Can I upload them to save them on line and then access them from my new windows 10 computer?
