Yes, you will receive your refund within 6 weeks as long as you don't owe other tax or debts we're required to collect.

According to IRS "You are re-certified for the credits claimed and allowed on your tax return. You don't have to fill out Form 8862, Information To Claim Earned Income Credit After Disallowance, Earned Income Credit, Child Tax Credit/Additional Child Tax Credit, and American Opportunity Tax Credit in the future for the credits that were allowed. You'll receive your refund within 6 weeks as long as you don't owe other tax or debts we're required to collect."

Have you gotten any new info, when did you file and what date did your letter say? I Got notice CP74 on March 5th for filing form 8862 stating I successfully recertified also says I don’t have to do anything as that it’ll be within 6 weeks now for my refund. I filed February 9th, still waiting. Wmr says still being processed no ddd no bars but before it had tax topic 152 with no ddd but one bar

I just received my refund it took 4 months. After receiving the cp74 and waiting 6 weeks and not getting my child credit I called and they said they did not have my 8862 form on file. So I had to resend it in and wait two more months to receive the rest of my money ( I had gotten money without the child credit at that point).

Okay that’s cool. I hope they hurry up it’s been about 4...
