      <description>Whether you receive a W-2 or a 1099 makes no difference to Uncle Sam. If you made money, you must claim it as income.&lt;BR /&gt;The GOOD NEWS is that if he "earned" 2K, then he is also entitled to deduct his reasonable expenses from that income----like expenses to travel there ( if he paid them), communications costs (cell phone, mail) special clothing that was required, out of pocket food expenses, etc.&lt;BR /&gt;It might actually result in a LOSS! Use schedule C.</description>
