If you did, and you itemized deductions on Schedule A, then your state should issue you a Form 1099-G with the amount. If you didn't itemize deductions on Schedule A, then you don't need to report it.

Alternatively, you can look at your prior year state tax return, or bank account for a deposit, around the time you filed your state taxes.
