When I told 2017 TurboTax Premier that I had used TT Premier in 2016, the original 2016 data carried over--not what was entered on the 2016 Amended return. How can I work around this?

Start over with a new return and transfer in the correct file (amended 2016) as it appears the wrong file was grabbed and transferred..

You can go to your TurboTax documents on your computer and look at the files to ensure you know which one is the amended and which one is the original 2016 return. Make sure to remember the name of the amended one, as that is the one you want to transfer to 2017.
