To access your downloads after purchasing from TurboTax.com, follow these steps.

Sign in to My Downloads.
Click the blue Download arrow for the product you would like to download.
Save the download somewhere on your computer where you can find it – your desktop is a good place.
After the download has finished, install your software by double-clicking the downloaded file.

And there is no limit to the number of returns you can complete using the prior year programs since they all must be mailed in ... however if you are a paid preparer you may not use any of the Turbo Tax programs to file client returns ... you must use a professional tax program or get the paper forms from the IRS & State.
