The IRS attempts to direct deposit the tax refund and when the deposit is rejected by the bank then the IRS will mail you a refund check to the address entered on your tax return. It is unknown the time frame this takes but I would expect 2 to 4 weeks. Keep checking their website and it will eventually show as refund mailed.
