SSN entered wrong, cannot change

I keep going in to try and change a SSN that is entered wrong but it will not let me. It is correct on the physical copy of the W2 so i'm not sure what the issue is and why it is showing up wrong. I have even gone back and corrected it on the W2 itself and nothing

You can change your Social Security Number in TurboTax by taking the following steps:

    In your return, select "Personal Info"
    On "Personal Info Summary" page you will see your personal details listed (SSN, Birthdate, Occupation, Resident State), as well as those of your husband
    Click on "Edit" button to the right of your personal details
    On "Your personal info" screen, find the Social Security number box, edit the number and click on Continue button
    You will be returned to the "Personal Info Summary" page
