I have been doing my own taxes and I am concerned I might be missing tax breaks and not capitalizing on my returns. This is for the past five years or so.

Tax returns can be amended in order to increase your refund for three years from the filing deadline---so if necessary you can amend as far back as three years. No one at TurboTax can look at your past tax returns. You should seek local paid tax help to go over your returns to see if you should amend.
