Did you purchase the TurboTax software as a download from the TurboTax website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

If so then the the software will be in your download account. You have to sign onto your download account with the same User ID you used to purchase the software - https://shopping.turbotax.intuit.com/unified/downloads?route=myaccounts&cgcview=downloads

This is so unhelpful. I hate turbo tax. I am going to bad mouth it everywhere if you can't make it more user friendly and get it to function. I filed the whole return last night. But, for some reason it said I had a dependent. incorrect. Completely. Then no one to respond to my questions by phone today. Now return vanished. WTF

@Lotp You have posted to a thread that is over a year old. The question and answer presented on this thread have nothing to do with your situation.

If you are referring to a 2022 tax return, that return can only be printed and mailed after October 16, 2023, it cannot be e-filed. Did you print the tax return?

Are you using the TurboTax desktop editions? If so, any dependent entered on your tax return could only been entered by the user of the software in the Personal Info section of the program.

All saved tax data files and PDF's are stored, by default, in the Documents directory and within the TurboTax folder. Look in the folder, do you have a tax data file with a file extension of .tax2022 listed.

If you used the TurboTax online editions, any dependent entered on your tax return would be in the My Info section of the program.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Or -

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2022 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
