2016 NY Individual Tax Return Program error

I just became aware, by way of a New York Tax audit, that the program did not process the input information properly. Specifically, the tax free interest from states outside of New York (which was properly entered in the Federal screen) was not properly added to NY taxable income. Also, the itemized deduction is being challenged by NY State. I would like you to review the input and how the programmed processed my information to see what happened. How can I have my file analyzed to see if there is a program error?
