Today I've recently attempted to check the status of my Virginia state return and i have been informed by the site that they NEVER received them...which is now making me concerned about my federal taxes

Having the exact same issue. Turbo Tax says my VA state refund was accepted on 01/30 however VA has no information.

If you used Online TurboTax, log into your account, and confirm your Tax Home shows the state return was accepted. If so, but you're not finding your info at the VA refund-lookup website, be sure you're entering the correct information at the VA site. Look at your actual state return to get the refund amount.

You can phone VA Tax agency and see if they can look you up or explain any delay in it showing up in their website tool.
