I'm so very sorry to hear about your husband's passing. Please accept my condolences.

I'm hoping that you can enter 0 as your AGI and get this through. There are a few reasons why your federal return may be rejected. And there may be a way to e-file it successfully. I'm sharing with you a TurboTax FAQ that may help.

What if I entered the correct AGI and I'm still getting an e-file rejection?

Hope this helps! Keeping my fingers crossed!

The IRS keeps rejecting my return. It says that last years AGI is incorrect. I requested the AGI from the IRS and it is correct. My husband died this year- does that have something with why it is rejected?

I can print and mail it, but NYS requires the state taxes to be efiled, and I cant print one and efile the other. What do I do??
