I am trapped in a loop trying to sign in the first time. I did the process to ask a question and it sent me a six digit confirmation code. When I entered it in the accounts-tax,intuit.com the message said the link had expired. When I hit enter the little circle just goes round and round.

Help. Direct response and not the automated one seems in order.

Log into what? I'll assume you are trying to log into Online TurboTax.

What does that mean? Is this your first time to ever log into TurboTax, or had you created an account previously?

Did your confirmation code come by text or email? When you go to retrieve the code, do not close the original window/tab that asks for the code, or the code will no longer be valid. You have to leave the window/tab open that asked for the code while you retrieve it.

I'm not sure what "process to ask a question" means. Are you trying to recover account access, and it asked you for some kind of security question you had set up previously or some personal info parameters?

Do you happen to have any script blocker or ad blocker as a browser extension? Or other content blocker such as a cookie blocker?

Before trying again, do this:

Be sure you are logged out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum. Close your browser and reopen it.

Then try to log in to Online TurboTax.

If you still get the spinning circle, try this:

Log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum. Close the browser and reopen it. This time open a private window (private browsing) and try to log into TurboTax.

If you are still getting a spinning circle after that, what browser are you using? Do you have another one you can try?
