Both my husband and I got an EIP - Letter 6475 - do we add the amounts on BOTH letters to find our total payment??

Are you not sure how much the total amount was that you received? Check your bank records from about mid-March onward for deposits of $1400 per person. Or check your online account with the IRS.

It is important to enter the total amount that the two of you received for the 3rd EIP payment when you complete the recovery rebate credit section. If you enter the wrong amount it will delay your refund.
