How do I remove a form 8801 from my current year tax return?

You can revisit the topic and delete the fields that you have entered.

Or you can remove the form 8801 from your return. To remove the form, follow these instructions:

Open your return in TurboTax. (To do this, sign in to TurboTax, and select Take me to my return.)
In the left-side menu, select Tax Tools > Tools.
In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to Form 8801 in the list and follow the onscreen instructions.
