Hello, recieved an email last night that my federal was rejected because my son claimed himself all year instead of 6 months like he was suppose to. So I deleted him and resent it, but it came back rejected again talking about ss numbers which I know are all correct. What should I do now?

Can you provide me with some more details regarding the most recent rejection? There is no part-year dependency. He is either your dependent for all of 2021 or he is not a dependent at all in 2021. If he claimed himself on his return, that explains why your return was rejected the first time. But if you removed him completely from the return and then got another rejection notice, there is another issue.

You may have not fully removed him, so use this link to make sure he is removed from your return. Submit the return again and if it gets rejected again, reply back with more details. You should get an email that describes the issue or better yet gives you a reject code that we can look up to determine what the issue is.
